Bond Sale Completed

From the District E-News letter on March 30 2012:

“The refunding principal and interest for the March 27 sale of the 2004 bonds
was $15,455,837.64, a savings of $755,162.36 (of which the present value is
$637,832.79) compared to the debt service prior to refunding of $16,211,000.
Meier added, “This savings combined with nearly $1.2-million in interest savings
from last August’s refunding totals nearly $2-million, resulting in direct savings
to district taxpayers.”
